Airway Manual ^® (All Paper)

The Airway Manual is an all-paper manual that is designed for the IFR pilot who requires the most up-to-date and complete planning, enroute and terminal information.

For each geographic area that you select, you receive a complete set of initial enroute charts, area charts, terminal charts, flight procedures and supplemental information. Your service will then be kept current throughout the year via updates and revisions.

When you initially purchase an Airway Manual subscription, you receive a complete and current set of charts for the geographic area that you have requested.

Depending on the service you order, you receive chart revisions every 7 to 14 days along with a revision letter listing each affected chart or page.

You also receive an Airway Manual Calendar that clearly shows each revision's mailing date and the date the revision becomes effective (i.e. effective date).

Airway Manual Electronic Text ^®

Airway Manual Electronic Text is a part electronic, part paper version of our popular Airway Manual.

With Electronic Text, you receive the non-charting content of the Airway Manual electronically, and you receive paper copies of the terminal charts/approach plates.

JeppView contains the same information as our all-paper version of the Airway Manual but in a readily-accessible, electronic format.

Simply download the information you need directly to your portable PC, tablet or other electronic device for quick reference. Vector-based, geo-referenced charts and a GPS (not included) provide moving-map functionality to enhance situational awareness.

Express Paper ^®

Express Paper is ideal for IFR pilots who fly in smaller geographic areas or who only occasionally fly outside their primary area of operation.

Express contains the same high-quality information as our standard Airway Manual, but with Express, you can select smaller, more-targeted coverages (e.g. California versus the entire Western U.S.).

Express is available as a one-time trip kit or as a 12-month subscription.

Revision service starts you off with a complete set of current Initial charts for the geographic area you request. Your Initial charts are then kept up to date by revisions sent automatically each bi-weekly revision cycle. Each manual fits into one 2" binder (sold separately).

Q-Service ^® and Q-Service HP ^®

Q-Service is a quick and convenient way to manage revisions to your Airway Manual.

Whether you select Q-service basic or high performance (HP), you will receive all the benefits of our classic Airway Manual, but you will no longer need to file terminal chart revisions. Here's how it works:

• Every two weeks, we mail you all your revised terminal charts and an update index. Each update is numbered 1-8 and inserted en masse behind the appropriate 1-8 tab in your update binder.**

• Every 16 weeks, we send you a completely new set of charts that incorporate all the changes from the previous four months. Remove the old charts from your update binder and replace them with the new ones--simple and quick.

Format: Both Paper Text/Paper Charts and Electronic Text/Electronic Charts available

Q-Service and Q-Service HP include all the benefits of the classic Airway Manual with these notable differences:

• No need to file terminal chart revisions

• Completely replaces all terminal charts every 16 weeks

Q-Service HP (High Performance) includes all the benefits of the basic Q-service with these additional advantages:

• Simpler to find what you need since excess and irrelevant content has been eliminated

• Fewer revisions to file because only includes charts for airports where your aircraft can actually land

Includes the same text sections and types of charts as a standard Airway Manual.

Revisions are mailed every two weeks. Complete terminal chart content is replaced every 16 weeks.

HP 4000 ^® and HP 6000 ^® Services

Exactly the same content as the standard Airway Manual, but since the HP service is designed for high-performance aircraft, you only receive charts for airports with hard-surface runways of 4,000 feet (or 6,000 feet) and longer.

Trip Kits

Trip Kits* allow you to purchase one of our Airway Manual coverages on a one-time basis for trips outside of your standard coverage area. Trip Kit chart content is identical to the initial manuals and provide you with everything you need to plan and fly IFR.

Trip kits come in several varieties:

• Express Trip Kits are perfect for pilots who want to make short, one-time trips. For instance, if you live in Portland and already have an Express subscription for the Northwest Coverage (Washington, Oregon, Idaho) but want to take your family on a Disneyland^® vacation, you could purchase the California Express Trip Kit.

• Standard Trip Kits are perfect for pilots who want to make a longer, one-time trip. For instance, if you live in Minneapolis and want to get away to the picturesque Rocky Mountains for a ski weekend, you could purchase the North Central Trip Kit.

• HP Trip Kits are designed for pilots who fly a high-performance aircraft and want to make a one-time trip outside their usual coverage area. HP Trip Kits only include information on airports with hard-surface runways 4,000 feet or longer.
