Active Noise Reduction

Active Noise Reduction Headsets

Most headsets protect your hearing by physically blocking out sound. Headsets with Active Noise Reduction (ANR) go a step further. They use tiny electronics hidden in the ear cup to send out a pulse of sound that cancels incoming, low-frequency noises. With an ANR headset, you can expect to get up to an additional 30 dB of noise reduction beyond its passive noise rating.
